Starting in one of the most fashionable cities in the world called Paris, Veja has grown into a leading brand. Since 2005, VEJA has been making sneakers in a different way, combining social projects, economic justice and ecological materials. The brand was an instant hit when it came out and the Parisian department stores knew of it. Now if you look at the progress, VEJA is available in over 50 countries with a production of 2 million sneakers per year. This has translated into the various large retail parties where the sneakers can be purchased. With this also since a few years it has been able to build its own stores in major fashion capitals Paris and New York and find great personalities who wear the brand such as Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Kourtney Kardashian.
VEJA sneakers has several high-quality models that continue to make a comeback during the collections that come out since the beginning of the brand. Current popular styles include the Campo, V-12 and V-10 sneakers, all of which feature the signature V logo on the midsole. Veja also launched its running category in 2019, with the debut of Veja's first post-petroleum running shoe, the Condor. In February, Veja updated its Condor sustainable running shoe for the first time with the Condor 2. The brand recently launched the Marlin in April.
VEJA works closely with small producer cooperatives in Brazil following fair trade practices and seeks to support local communities by using upcycled and sustainably sourced materials. VEJA sneakers are produced in high-quality factories in Brazil. Part of VEJA's logistics is managed by Log'ins, a professional and socially inclusive company. VEJA uses Brazilian and Peruvian organic cotton for the canvas and laces, rubber from the Amazon for the soles and various innovative materials conceived in recycled plastic bottles or recycled polyester.
